Here too the nose is quite cool and restrained with its wonderfully broad-ranging panoply of aromas that include black raspberry, plum, violet, lavender and a hint of wood influence. There is outstanding volume to the refined, intense and sleekly muscular flavors that possess superb mid-palate density while displaying simply huge length on the chiseled finish where once again the only reproach is a hint of warmth. This beautifully refined effort is really very classy and a wine that should very much reward extended cellaring. Brilliant.
